The catalog in this version is handbags and watches: 40K+ items, human-verified so the comparable in front of you is actually comparable. You may also see the product written as 2ndInsights. The display lockup is 2ND /NSIGHTS. Syentist Lab Inc. (Canada) operates the product.
Core and Plus open with a paid trial. There is no Access Pending approval gate. Ultra is a conversation. The catalog is not a public feed. Pricing intelligence is informational: it does not guarantee a sale, a consignor acceptance, or a particular margin. We do not publish marketplace names.
The desk workflow
You have about a minute at the counter. Match the piece, read sold comparables, write quote and ask from one window, and share the same number the house will stand beside. Handbags and watches are the catalog — not the product itself.
- Match the piece — identity, condition, completeness — before you speak a number. If the reference is uncertain, stop and identify first.
- Read sold comparables in a current window: same model family, hardware or bracelet story, condition band, and what travels with the piece. Prefer a short set you would defend.
- Write the consignor quote and the window ask as cousins from that one reading. If they are strangers, the house absorbs the gap.
- Share a secured card the consignor can open. Staff and consignor see the same story in plain language.
Sold comparables
Human-verified sold comparables, matched to the piece on the desk — not last week’s asking screenshot. Asking prices are wishes until they clear. A comparable that fails a match axis is not a comparable.
The desk reads identity, size, material, hardware or bracelet, condition, completeness, and recency. Prefer a short set you would defend. Core shows current price, condition, and days to sell for one category; Plus adds both categories and historical data. Thin windows stay honest: the product does not invent a market band when there are not enough sold matches.
Why this number
Condition, market window, and sold matches in plain language — so the quote can be defended without flipping tabs. Condition shapes which sold pieces belong in the set. The window is current on purpose. Outliers you would not defend do not belong.
When there are not enough recent sold comparables, the product says the set is insufficient. False precision at the counter is more expensive than a quiet thin window. Two desks in the same house should still share one method.
